This pictures is really great. Black and white pictures are now days almost forgotten. The picture is very romantic it is like in a fairytale. It reminds me on my first long distance travel to Sri lanka, there is a lot of trees like that one, specially in (spice) Gardens.
Thank you for the comment. Many wedding photographers use black and white for that very reason… it feels like a fairytale, or at minimum, more artistic than color.
Definitely a very powerful picture. Fabulous use of contrast.
Thanks Fiona, your wedding photos are nice.
WOW! I love this image. I love that its in BW it really moves me. I love when images have a type of story or make you feel like you are right there.
Very good work. Keep it up. I would like to see more.
Thanks, Sarasota Photographer! I also live in Florida, but closer to Daytona Beach.

You’re welcome ~
Me I find the picture so lonely but its really impressive. The B&W effect makes a stunning and cool photo. Its really a great work man!
Thank you! Lonely hmm?
This is a really cool picture. I really like the way the tree catches the light. Have you thought about starting a photography business? If you would like I have a blog that talks about how to effectively market your photography business online. I’m trying to start a utah wedding photography business and I’m keeping a journal of my progress. I would love some comments and some followers
Thanks. I don’t do this as much more than a hobby… have done a few assignments and sold some prints but nothing more.
what a fantastic tree! it looks easy to climb on. i would just love to climb to the top and than stay there for an hour or two and enjoy the view
Thanks! There was a good breeze that day; that could be fun.
That is an awesome photo, especially in B&W. It kind of makes me think the tree is covered in ghosts.
~ Kristi
Thanks, Kristi. Yes, this is the evil ghost tree.
Richard, I really like this photo, it looks nothing like ive ever seen before! The tree almost looks like its on fire.
Thank you! Cool, I thought there were a lot of photos of trees like this but I suppose this one is a bit different.
Kinda makes me wheezy. I don’t know why, otherwise it’s a good photo.
Thanks! I guess that’s because it’s such an impressive tree?
