A yellow grasshopper from my yard, with my attempt at isolating him. I did alright, so I’m releasing this as a resource to the world.

I loathe these yellow pests. They feed on my palm trees, and other plants I tend to. Instead of poisons or insectides, I prefer to use a .22 Cal Benjamin pump pellet pistol. RWS 14.2gr hollow points are the most accurate and deadly. Since I am an avid marksman these pests allow me to practice my skills and save my plants at the same time. The nice thin about the air gun is its enviornmentally friendly, power can be adjusted to kill them even on glass surfaces with no damage to whats behind them and if a clear shot presents itself a high power shot causes a violent explosion of their bodies, a “coups de gras”. I leave their pungent remains for their friends as a warning and as food for ants and lizzards. So if these Lubbers are bothering you, take up arms my brothers and sisters and give em hell. BORN TO KILL!
The Grasshopper Hunter
I will post photos if requested. A well placed pellet gets em every time!
