About Richard

I’m Richard X. Thripp, a 19 year old from Daytona Beach, Florida. I am a photographer, musical composer, writer, and programmer.

I got my first camera in 2004 and have been taking pictures ever since. I got my first piano in 2001 (a cheap electronic keyboard with under 40 keys) and finally started composing music seriously in July of 2010. Check out my new website Composer’s Journey, and my first album, Inferno.

I started this website at the end of 2007 as a way to share my photos AND make money from Google AdSense ads. I previously frequented deviantART, and despite my far-larger audience there, I didn’t like the idea of producing no revenue. All my photos and content here are free, and I make over $300 a month as of August 2010.

My father is an unsuccessful writer and my mother is a Systems Administrator for Goodwill in San Francisco, California. My parents are divorced and remarried. I live with my father and step-mother. I have a half-sister named Rachel who is 9 and lives with her parents in California.

My interests include photography, personal development, piano, violin, PHP, WordPress, writing, and blogging. I will graduate from Daytona State College with an A.A. degree in Liberal Arts at the end of 2010. I am a Christian, a Republican, and a Ron Paul supporter.

I am currently single and looking for a woman who takes pictures or plays piano and lives near me.
